How Lumière nannies are vetted for Geneva families
Lumière is based on the French Riviera and is not a Swiss-licensed placement agency. For Swiss families we introduce vetted candidates; the family is the employer and handles the Swiss employment contract, AVS/AHV registration and any permit application, usually with a Swiss household-payroll specialist. We confirm each candidate's eligibility before any introduction.
Right to work in Switzerland
Permit B, C, G or Ci — or EU/EFTA citizenship — confirmed before any introduction. Where a permit is still required, the family applies through the cantonal authority; Lumière does not handle permit applications.
AVS / AHV social contributions
Geneva placements run with declared AVS contributions, accident insurance (LAA) and pension (LPP) handled jurisdiction-correct.
Convention Collective de Travail (CCT)
Placements follow the Geneva CCT for domestic workers, working hours, overtime, paid leave and notice handled correctly.
